Job Summary
Sr. UI/UX Designer leads design-system ownership and UX strategy for TradeStation Marketing’s web experiences. Owns design system in Figma, governs brand standards, and ensures pages, components, and user flows align with user needs and conversion goals. Responsibilities include UX research (interviews, usability testing, behavioral analysis), information architecture, wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes, and polished handoff to front-end developers. Collaborates with Senior Full-Stack Developer and Marketing Analytics/AI Specialist, defends design decisions with user research and business objectives, and incorporates AI tools into design workflow for rapid iteration and asset generation. Requires expertise in Figma, UX methodology, accessibility (WCAG 2.1), and a track record of building or contributing to a design system at scale. Comfortable with Agile workflows, has a strong visual design sensibility, and possesses portfolio work demonstrating end-to-end web design with impact in financial services or fintech contexts. The role emphasizes driving conversion-aware experiences while staying current with UX trends and best practices, including AI-enabled design strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional UX/UI design experience
- Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end web design from research through developer handoff
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience
- Ability to produce developer handoff-ready Figma files with specs and breakpoints
- Experience designing for financial services, fintech, or regulated digital products preferred
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)
- Experience owning or contributing to a design system in a team environment
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Experience collaborating with developers and cross-functional stakeholders
- Portfolio includes live web projects showing UX strategy and high-fidelity design
- Experience with conversion rate optimization principles and A/B testing preferred
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to work in Agile/sprint-based workflows
- Familiarity with AI tools in design preferred
- Motion design and interaction design experience preferred
- Bachelor or equivalent in related field or professional experience
