Job Summary
Product Manager responsibilities include defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap; translating customer needs into technical requirements; collaborating with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to develop and launch features; prioritizing features based on market trends and business objectives; conducting market research, gathering feedback, and analyzing data to understand customer needs; acting as the voice of the customer and maintaining relationships with cross-functional teams; managing the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and ongoing improvement; coordinating launches with marketing and customer onboarding; monitoring budget and ensuring alignment with the company’s strategy; travel domestically to support site visits (approximately 2–4 trips per year); and complying with safety and biosecurity requirements. Requirements include a college degree or equivalent experience with 4+ years of progressive experience (or advanced degree with 2+ years), proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to develop procedures and provide guidance to others.
Required Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent experience with 4+ years of progressive experience in field of expertise or advanced degree, if required with 2+ years of progressive experience
- Experience in product management lifecycle from ideation to launch (as described in responsibilities)
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and support
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Willingness to travel domestically approximately two to four trips per year
- Adherence to biosecurity policies and safety requirements at jobsites
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap and prioritize features
- Experience with data analysis and A/B testing
- Voice of the customer advocacy and relationship-building skills
