Job Summary
Senior Transportation Project Manager – Roadway/Traffic in Tennessee (based in Knoxville, Nashville, or Chattanooga). Responsibilities include managing TDOT statewide transportation design projects (traffic, planning, highway, roadway, major interchanges), building new business and relationships with transportation leaders, coordinating meetings with major clients, managing design-build pursuits, developing and managing design and construction contract specifications, and overseeing budget, scope, and schedule while implementing quality procedures and participating in professional societies. Required qualifications include a PE license, 10+ years TDOT PM experience, and PMP/CCM/DBIA certification within 12 months, with pre-qualification experience with TDOT being a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering or related discipline
- Professional engineering (PE) license
- 10+ years of TDOT project management experience
- PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification is required (within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list)
- Proven and successful experience winning and managing TDOT projects
- Previous engineering design experience with pre-qualification ability with TDOT is a major plus
