Job Summary
Lead engineering execution for large or multi-project transmission programs; mentor engineering teams; provide PLS-CADD training; serve as technical lead on overhead transmission projects focusing on structural design (foundations, framing, materials) with experience in steel, wood, laminate, and composite structures; familiarity with 69kV+ and 500kV+ projects, lattice towers, EPC/utility services; manage budgets, schedules, and quality, and interface with clients while supporting pursuit/business development efforts.
Required Qualifications
- 8–12+ years of overhead transmission line design experience (69kV+ required)
- PLS-CADD experience required
- Experience with 500kV+ projects strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (other engineering degrees considered)
- PE license preferred
