Job Summary
Process trade corrections by analyzing and correcting entries for mutual funds, securities, cash, bonds, managed accounts, and dividend transactions through internal processing systems. Calculate dividends in client and error accounts to ensure accurate allocation, reconciliation, and resolution of discrepancies. Work with internal and external business partners to research and resolve issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide seamless service. Identify root causes of errors and conduct trend reporting to participate in problem-solving sessions for continuous process improvements. Ensure all transaction processing adheres to industry rules, regulations, and internal compliance procedures. This role supports the back-office team within Ameriprise Financial's diversified financial services leader, handling high-volume processing in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship for employment in the United States
- High school or GED
- Post-secondary education and relevant work experience (interchangeable with education to meet combined total years)
- Previous operations, processing or customer service experience
- Strong attention to detail, including demonstrated ability to meet accuracy standards in a high-volume processing situation
- Ability to research and resolve problems
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results driven, transaction based environment
- Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with internal business partners and advisors
- Must be available for in-office collaboration at least four (4) days per week
