Senior Trade Compliance Specialist responsible for ECCN and HTS classification of technology products and export license determination while ensuring compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations. Hybrid position based near Irvine, CA. Responsibilities include reviewing product information to assign ECCN classifications using the Commerce Control List; determining HTS classifications across multiple country tariffs for technology products; determining export license requirements for hardware, software, technology, and services; researching classification and encryption level using CCL and CROSS rulings, requesting CCATS; validating and maintaining ECCN and HTS classifications in ERP systems and tools; managing vendor classification price lists, completing analysis, and preparing upload files; identifying and resolving compliance holds to meet department SLAs; creating and maintaining SOPs, process flows, and FAQs; conducting compliance audits and preparing regulatory reporting; preparing metrics, KPIs, and reporting on classification activity and trends.
