Sr Trade Compliance Analyst

Job Summary
Senior Trade Compliance Analyst responsible for overseeing import/export activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing best practices for reporting and recordkeeping. Leads HTS, country of origin, and tariff impact analyses; handles complex country of origin determinations; supports process automation, post-entry audits, and continuous improvement initiatives; serves as primary liaison to Engineering and Product Line Managers on trade compliance for new product development; advises internal stakeholders on international shipping and customs clearance; researches and communicates new regulations to cross-functional teams; and contributes to automated systems and governance around global trade compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business and/or Logistics, Supply Chain, Legal, or similar field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in trade compliance or closely related field
- Deep understanding of trade compliance concepts, including HTS and ECCN classification, country of origin determination, valuation for import, export control and sanctions compliance
- Intermediate knowledge of ERP systems, global trade compliance software, and transportation management systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, power query, complex formulas)
- Experience with Power BI or similar data reporting systems
- Ability to recognize improvement and control opportunities within Trade Compliance
- Understand governmental regulations required to maintain compliance and retain trade privileges
- Self-starter and collaborative work style
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
