Job Summary
Research and examine online public records for surface and mineral titles, compiling full chains of title and identifying defects. Interpret deeds, easements, leases, plats, probate records, and court filings to summarize ownership interests and encumbrances. Prepare detailed title reports and acquisition packages, communicating findings professionally in written and verbal formats. Requires five or more years of surface and mineral title experience and proficiency in courthouse research tools and deed plotting software. Based in Hall, Floyd, and Yoakum Counties, Texas, with a work schedule accommodating independent project management across multiple deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience completing complex surface and mineral title examinations
- Prior experience in Due Diligence projects
- Skilled in interpreting legal documents and historical property conveyances
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage time across multiple projects
- Familiarity with courthouse research tools and online public record systems
- Strong computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and deed plotting software
- Five or more (5+) years of Surface and Mineral Title Experience
- Hall, Floyd, and Yoakum Counties, Texas
