Sr. Tier III O&M Engineer

Job Summary
The Sr. Tier III O&M Engineer will support various WAN and LAN networks, providing incident resolution, routing changes, and firewall changes. Responsibilities include administering networks, performing tier 3 troubleshooting, optimizing network topologies, and ensuring system compliance with open standards. Required skills include experience with boundary protection technologies, protocol configuration, and strong documentation abilities. The position requires a Doctorate level education or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 16 years in related fields, and compliance with DoD information assurance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- TS SCI with a Poly
- 16 years of experience in a related field
- Must comply with DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2
- Experience in configuring and troubleshooting boundary protection technologies such as Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, and Forcepoint appliances
- Experience with configuring and troubleshooting Juniper and Cisco routers and switches
- Experience with protocols such as OSPF, BGP, VPN’s, VRF’s, MPLS
- Demonstrated ability to engineer and modify rulesets for connectivity
- Ability to read, understand, and develop schematic diagrams and technical documentation
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Service Now or similar IT Service Management (ITSM) products
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate-level knowledge of MS Office products Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
