Job Summary
Define air cooling, liquid cooling, and immersion cooling solutions specifications. Lead overall thermal solutions design for system fans, heat spreaders, heat sinks, cold plates, CDUs, and CDMs. Conduct thermal simulations and validation while performing root-cause analysis to solve issues. Manage supplier product performance, quality, and schedules to meet thermal criteria. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenges and meet targets. Independently correspond with customers to answer specific questions and adhere to schedules. Study new thermal technologies such as two-phase DLC or immersion cooling. Requires 8+ years of experience with Intel/AMD/Nvidia platforms and strong simulation skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in mechanical and thermal engineering
- Over 8 years experiences of thermal solution design experiences with Intel/AMD/Nvidia CPU/GPU server platform
- Understanding of data center infrastructure and cooling technologies, particularly direct liquid cooling and immersion cooling solutions
- Able to express in English clearly and have good communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
- better to have simulation skills with system level
- Have abilities to build rack level liquid cooling solutions, better to have refrigeration and air conditioning knowledge
