Job Summary

Senior Thermal Design Engineer responsible for product design and development of heat transfer equipment, including heat transfer calculations, lab data review, and testing; modeling and programming with Kuli; prototype planning and testing; cost assessment; product validation/certification; and interdepartmental technical support. Must have extensive knowledge of heat transfer theory, radiator design, materials, assembly, and operating characteristics; experience with CAE tools (Kuli, FEA, CFD); ability to conduct research, plan multiple projects, and communicate effectively. Travel domestically and internationally as needed. Requires a Master’s degree in a related field and at least ten years of relevant experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in mechanical, Thermal, Energy Engineering, or a closely related discipline
  • Ten years of experience in heat exchanger design, calculations, and manufacturing
  • Min of seven years of product technology development
  • Driver’s license; passport (for foreign travel as necessary)
