Job Summary
Senior Test Development Engineer to design, develop, and implement cost-effective manufacturing tests for high-frequency, high-voltage circuits and systems. Responsibilities include preparing test and diagnostic programs, designing test fixtures, estimating project costs and schedules, owning test requirements from vendor to customer, and verifying product functionality and manufacturing screens. Requires expertise in automation, data collection, and programming (LabVIEW, TestStand, C++, Python), plus experience with oscilloscopes, DAQs, and general-purpose test equipment; strong communication, problem-solving, and 6-sigma skills; minimum 5 years of test development experience; Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Travel to international locations may be required; position located in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or relevant engineering discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of product test development experience
- Experience in power supply testing or design
- Programming experience in NI LabVIEW and TestStand, C++, SQL, and/or Python
- Expertise in programming automation and data collection
- Source Code control experience
- Experience with a variety of General-Purpose Test Equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, DAQs, and switches
- Object Oriented Programming Skills
- 6-sigma or equivalent statistical, problem-solving methodology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence design decisions
