Job Summary
Sr Test Automation Engineer at Skyworks in Ottawa, ON, responsible for developing Automated Test Equipment (ATE) solutions for RF modules, supporting high-volume manufacturing, and delivering robust test strategies. Collaborate with Product Engineering and Design teams to create and maintain test tools, automate hardware/software release processes, and ensure GLP/GMP compliance. Key tasks include developing RFIC ATE test solutions for NPI and high-volume manufacturing, improving yield and test coverage, transferring test solutions to manufacturing sites, and communicating clearly with cross-functional teams. Required skills include proficiency in C++, C#, Java, Python, SQL, YAML, VS Code, Git/GitHub, and experience with RF/WiFi standards, RF test instrumentation, and semiconductor test equipment; a Bachelor's degree in CE/CS/EE or related field with 5+ years of experience; familiarity with RF protocols (MIPI, I2C, SPI) and testing practices. The role is full-time and based in Ottawa, Canada, with a strong emphasis on collaboration across multiple engineering disciplines and global manufacturing partners.
