Job Summary
Senior Teller responsible for precise handling of routine and complex banking transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments) while delivering exceptional customer service. Oversees and mentors tellers, reviews and verifies transactions for accuracy/compliance, manages branch cash, vault duties, and currency/coin allocation. Supports with training, provides overrides/approvals for escalated issues, and promotes bank products by guiding customers to appropriate services. Requires strong numerical/communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to operate in a fast-paced banking environment with adherence to security and dual-control procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of experience in banking or financial services with teller responsibilities
- Strong mathematical and grammatical skills
- Typing and data entry accuracy
- Proficiency in processing over-the-counter financial transactions
- Ability to collaborate across departments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fast-paced environment adaptability
