Sr Technician, Environmental Health & Safety

Job Summary
Senior Technician, Environmental Health & Safety role focusing on advanced EHS maintenance and testing (e.g., fire protection systems, emergency lighting and doors, chemical handling), ensuring contractor compliance with safety rules, conducting daily safety inspections in CR facilities, providing EHS guidance and training to staff, contractors, and visitors, supporting the recycling documentation process and tracking metrics, and contributing to process improvements in line with Edwards Lifesciences’ EHS and quality guidelines. Requires a completed technical degree in Occupational Health or related field, 2+ years in OHS, intermediate English, and ability to work in Shift B (3:30 p.m.–10:30 p.m.). Preferred familiarity with clean room medical device manufacturing, strong communication skills, and MS Office proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma Completed
- Required Technical Degree in Occupational Health, Workplace Health, or related field, completed
- Required Minimum of 2 years of experience in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) processes
- Required Intermediate English level
- Able to read and comprehend
- Experience working in medical device industry or related industries (electronics, pharmaceutical, food industry or related)
