Job Summary
Write, edit, and maintain technical documents for DoD equipment and systems, including software and hardware installation/configuration guides, user manuals, training materials, and data/engineering documentation. Collaborate with engineers to produce high-quality technical publications; interpret engineering drawings and technical information; maintain a current documentation library; produce defense acquisition documentation and crypto program materials; ensure documentation meets audience needs and supports end-users across diverse audiences; manage layout, design, and publication processes, and provide leadership on complex documentation projects.
Required Qualifications
- Eight (8) years experience as a Technical Writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university
- Master’s degree in a technical or business discipline may be substituted for two (2) years of experience
- Five (5) years of additional Technical Writer experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree
- TS/SCI Poly required
