Sr. Technical Sales Specialist

Job Summary
Senior Technical Sales Specialist responsible for driving revenue growth and delivering expert guidance on scientific concepts and cell and gene therapy applications. You will engage clients to determine technical needs, propose Aldevron products and solutions, explain complex information clearly, represent Aldevron at trade shows and conferences, and partner with Business Unit Leaders, Sales Leaders, and Marketing to address industry shifts and voice of the customer feedback. Travel up to 20% and work a remote arrangement from home; role reports to the Director of Technical Sales within the Commercial organization. Lead efforts to meet sales quotas in collaboration with Inside Sales, Business Development, and Global Strategic Account Teams; leverage deep scientific knowledge in biology/biochemistry and mRNA manufacturing to support the sales process; travel to client sites, conferences, and trade shows as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of client support, sales or marketing experience in the cell and gene therapy space
- Deep scientific knowledge and understanding of mRNA manufacturing
- Creative problem-solving ability and solutions-building skillset
- Travel up to 20% for on-site client interactions, meetings, conferences, and trade shows
