Job Summary
Conduct consultative sales engagements and product demonstrations to identify opportunities and build strong customer relationships across life sciences research and development goals. Provide technical leadership in customer interactions, deliver solutions for analytical instruments, and manage territory plans while traveling up to 50-75% within assigned regions. Support revenue growth and customer success by collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing territory strategies, and mentoring team members.
Required Qualifications
- +8 years of technical sales experience in life sciences, analytical instruments, or related field
- Strong technical understanding of relevant scientific workflows and applications
- Ability to travel up to 50-75% within assigned territory (Peru, Ecuador, Caribean, Colombia, Panama, Guatemala, Nicaragua)
- Fluent English
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Expert presentation and communication skills with ability to engage stakeholders
- Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Success in consultative selling and complex sales cycles
- Strong project management and organizational abilities
- Proven relationship building and networking capabilities
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
- Deep knowledge of specific product technologies and workflows as required by position
- Experience presenting at scientific conferences and trade shows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to develop and implement territory plans
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions
- Experience supporting and developing other team members
- Strong customer service focus
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences or related scientific field
- Master's Degree desirable
