Sr. Technical Quality Engineering Specialist

Job Summary
Embed quality engineering discipline from early design through production by evaluating new components for manufacturability, applying core tools like APQP and FMEA, and leading root-cause investigations across prototype, DV, and PV builds. Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to resolve issues before they reach the customer, confirm component readiness, and validate design intent using GD&T and tolerance analysis. Drive containment, corrective action validation, and issue closure while integrating lessons learned to ensure advanced vehicle electronics perform reliably at launch.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of automotive quality or engineering experience.
- Experience supporting advanced vehicle electronics, including ECUs, sensors, wiring harnesses, connectors, displays, control modules, low-voltage power distribution, and related electrical/electronic vehicle systems.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings, and tolerance analysis.
- Hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and core quality tools.
- Prototype, DV, and PV build support experience.
- Proven root cause and issue-closure capability.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform the essential duties of the position, including understanding work instructions, safety procedures, and job-related communications.
- This role is fully onsite at our Arizona facility.
Desired Qualifications
- Premium automotive electrical/electronic quality experience.
- Familiarity with automotive electronics validation standards (e.g., ISO 26262 functional safety, EMC/ESD requirements).
- EV industry experience.
