Job Summary
Sr Technical Project Manager leads teams within a matrix environment to successfully complete technology-focused projects, serving as the primary liaison among project teams, business owners, and sponsors; responsible for oversight of the entire project life cycle, applying project management and agile methodologies to plan, coordinate resources, manage scope, and drive execution across IS Infrastructure and Development teams in tech initiatives such as data center migrations to AWS and other infrastructure upgrades.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year degree in Information Systems or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 2 years direct Information Systems infrastructure experience
- 2 - 4 years experience with Information Systems project management experience
- 2 - 4 years experience in Financial Industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of banking systems, technologies and their relationship to business functions, practices, and processes
- Analytical and Project Management skills with a focus in financial services applications
- PMI or other project management certification preferred
- Knowledge and practical applications of Agile methodology
- Business Process Management experience recommended
