Sr. Technical Program Manager

Job Summary

Lead day-to-day program management of multiple work streams across the software development lifecycle, covering product strategy, technical design, implementation, experimentation, and go-to-market execution. Proactively identify and resolve blockers, manage cross-team dependencies with scrum teams, partners, design, and QA, and drive alignment on commitments across tech, marketing, and business development to achieve goals. Assist teams in recovering from missed deadlines by creating and socializing new plans to ensure alignment across engineering and stakeholders. Serve as the reliable point of contact for your vertical alongside product and engineering managers, holding teams accountable to delivery timelines while providing technical transparency through clear summaries for diverse audiences. Integrate GenAI tools into workflows to generate artifacts, redesign manual processes, and synthesize data signals for risk assessment.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a technical program manager in a similarly sized company or industry
  • Experience launching user-facing technologies at a high quality bar
  • Experience managing stakeholders and cross-organizational dependencies
  • Proven track record of delivering product roadmaps with limited supervision
  • Experience using agile project management tools, such as Jira
  • Demonstrated understanding of established project management methodologies and tools to develop and execute product roadmaps
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate GenAI tools into day-to-day program management, including generating AI-assisted first drafts of program artifacts, redesigning manual workflows into AI-first mechanisms, and synthesizing data signals to surface risks, decisions, and trade-offs
  • Strong technical understanding that enables meaningful contribution to conversations about technical solutions
  • Ability to balance shifting priorities and pivot when necessary
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation, organizational, and planning skills
  • Ability to influence, connect, and collaborate with a variety of groups and personalities, both technical and non-technical, at all levels of the organization
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, and able to adapt to the needs and styles of other teams and organizations
  • Self-starter with creative problem-solving skills and the ability to work with limited supervision
  • Five years of experience as a TPM in a similarly sized company or industry
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Desired Qualifications

  • Adept at building relationships cross-functionally and gaining alignment with business partners
  • Experience mentoring junior team members and/or cross-functional collaborators
  • Broad understanding of the music technology space, with the ability to go deep into the details, to think big, and to roll up your sleeves
