Job Summary
Sr Technical Instructor responsible for delivering professional safety/technical training consulting across the Company. Design and maintain training materials, develop evaluation instruments, analyze feedback for program improvements, oversee apprenticeship programs, and coordinate regional training efforts. Drive continuous improvement of field staff through systematic training approaches, use of business processes and project management, and collaboration with customers to identify objectives. Must design/testing instruments, perform statistical analysis to evaluate training effectiveness, and provide oversight for instructional staff and continuing technical training. Strong communication, instructional design, and adult-learning expertise required; bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Education, or a related technical field and five years of training experience preferred. Expect travel to customer sites as needed and adherence to Training Process Procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Education, or technical field related to the subject(s) in which the individual will provide instruction is preferred, or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge (specialized trade school, instructor certification, military training, journeyman training) is required
- Five years of training experience or equivalent technical work experience related to subject area of instruction
- Strong communication and presentation skills are required
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of adult learning principles
- Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to effectively use Microsoft Office applications
