Job Summary
Sr Technical Consultant in ACI Worldwide's Professional Services delivering and implementing complex, high-value payment solutions for global financial institutions. You will implement and configure payment solutions, translate designs into robust, scalable implementations, and ensure successful delivery across SaaS and customer-operated environments. The role emphasizes real-time account-to-account and card payments, cloud-native and hybrid architectures, scalable and high-availability delivery, collaboration with solution architects and business analysts, and guiding performance optimization and solution stability while supporting client onboarding and transition to production. Requires hands-on payments experience, customer-facing delivery, APIs/messaging/middleware expertise, and a Bachelor's degree with about 5 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years relevant experience
- Hands-on experience implementing or supporting payments systems (high-value payments, real-time processing, clearing and settlement)
- Experience in customer-facing technical delivery or consulting roles
- Strong understanding of payments architectures, system integration (APIs, messaging, middleware)
- Experience with cloud environments (preferred) and hybrid/distributed architectures
- Ability to translate requirements into working solutions and support deployment across SaaS and customer-operated environments
- Knowledge of deployment strategies, scalability, resilience, and performance optimization
- Experience with solution delivery, testing, onboarding, and production transition
