Job Summary
Research complex accounting guidance under US GAAP and prepare technical memos for transactions involving revenue recognition, leases, and business combinations. Draft SEC filings, including Forms 10-K and 10-Q, and coordinate with external auditors on technical accounting and SOX compliance matters. Monitor new accounting standards, lead implementation efforts, and provide advisory support to business partners on strategic initiatives. Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement schedules while maintaining and enforcing accounting policies. Collaborate with Legal, Treasury, Tax, and FP&A teams to ensure accurate, timely, and transparent financial disclosures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2-5+ years of combined public accounting and/or relevant industry experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Hands-on experience preparing and/or reviewing SEC filings
Desired Qualifications
- Big 4 public accounting firm experience
- CPA license (active or ability to obtain)
- Experience working with complex transactions and public company reporting
- Prior exposure to SOX 404 compliance
- Experience working with Workiva
