Job Summary
Lead technical advisor role for high-speed rail projects in Southern California. Responsible for providing guidance and direction in engineering discipline, performing independent technical reviews, developing scope and change management strategies, and advising on complex projects with internal teams and external client counterparts. Supports marketing responsibilities including proposal generation and coordinates technical aspects with clients and teaming partners to ensure technical consistency across multidisciplinary transportation projects in California. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or higher) with extensive relevant experience; demonstrated expertise in high-speed rail or rapid transit projects and rail systems integration; recognized as a trusted advisor and leader in engineering delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 12 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree in Engineering and 11 year of relevant experience, or PhD in Engineering and 10 years of relevant experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification (preferred)
- Experience with High-speed rail corridor design and rail systems integration
- Sought-out as an expert in the technical field
- Ability to mentor and provide technical guidance to staff and leadership
