Sr. Technical Accountant

Job Summary
Conduct research on accounting literature for new business initiatives, contracts, and transactions. Prepare accounting memos for significant transactions including mergers, acquisitions, leases, debt, and revenue recognition. Develop support workpapers, tie-outs, and SOX checklists in connection with technical memos. Analyze FASB new and proposed accounting standards to determine company impact. Assist with preparation of interim and annual SEC filings, including Form 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, financial footnote disclosures, and MD&A in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Work proactively with external auditors to drive timely closure of technical accounting matters and maintain compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley controls. Prepare responses to various requests for information and assist with ad hoc projects.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting

- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies, developing strong relationships
