Sr. Tax Analyst

Job Summary
The Sr. Tax Analyst is responsible for preparing quarterly and annual tax provisions according to ASC 740, managing tax compliance calendars, and assisting with SEC tax reporting. Key responsibilities include calculating estimated tax payments, preparing R&D credit calculations, conducting research on tax issues, and collaborating with finance and legal teams. Candidates should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate tax or public accounting, a CPA, and a Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance. Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of corporate tax or public accounting experience (with a Big 4 firm)
- CPA required
- Masters in Taxation strongly preferred
- BA/BS business/accounting/finance or other applicable business discipline
- Ability to stay knowledgeable about, research and reach well-reasoned conclusions on laws and regulations relevant to tax
- Demonstrated project and program management skills
- Strong understanding of US corporate tax and general understanding of international tax
- Expert proficiency with Excel
- Must possess a critical attention to detail
- Must have sound interpersonal, communication, organization and analytic skills
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge / utilization skills specific to OneSource (OTP) tax provision software
- Life Sciences experience
