Job Summary
Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, and estates. Provide advanced tax planning, research, and strategic consulting to help clients optimize tax positions while conducting paid consultations to explain positions and compliance requirements. Ensure full compliance with US laws, respond to client inquiries and taxing authority notices, and support IRS examinations. Review junior staff work, research complex issues, and maintain accurate client files using tax software. Collaborate cross-functionally during off-peak periods and identify workflow improvements. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of recent and extensive experience preparing individual tax returns and forms
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state income tax laws
