Job Summary

The Sr. Tableau Onshore Developer position requires expertise in complex ERD data models and the ability to translate large datasets into Tableau segments, having worked with datasets of up to 1 billion rows. Candidates must understand Hadoop and AWS, have experience with back-end databases like Teradata, Oracle, or SQL Server, and possess server-side setup experience. Knowledge of Tableau best practices is essential, alongside the ability to develop performant solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with very complex ERD data models
  • Able to translate into Tableau segments from large data joined datasets
  • Experience working with the largest dataset of 1 billion rows
  • Understanding of Hadoop/Hadoop clusters
  • Understanding of AWS
  • Experience with back-end Teradata, Oracle, or SQL Server (at least one with massive size)
  • Server side experience with setting up server
  • Knows Tableau best practices in client and server setup
  • Able to come up with a performant solution

  • Have knowledge of entertainment data
  • Physical Media and Digital Media
  • Home Entertainment Data
  • TV Ratings Data experience or Media Advertising Sales
  • Theatrical distributions or release management
  • User security setup on Tableau server, user authentication/authorization for data
