Job Summary
Sr. Systems Engineer to provide ongoing support of cloud-based systems and act as escalation point mentoring junior engineers. Responsibilities include administering O365, Azure, AWS, IAM, and Hybrid Active Directory; maintaining cloud environments for Microsoft technologies (EntraID, SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, Power Platform, IIS, SQL, AD, DNS); building Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Packer, and DSC; enabling citizen development with Azure Foundry, CoPilot Studio, and Power Platform governance; creating Azure Functions and Runbooks; administering Azure Virtual Desktops; managing Intune and MECM; monitoring and responding to infrastructure events with Datadog to implement monitors and alerts; supporting IaaS on AWS/Azure; ensuring IT security/compliance with PCI DSS, HIPAA; leveraging approved AI tools for task efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma required
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science preferred
- Five (5) years of experience in systems administration or engineering required
- Advanced knowledge of Power Platform, CoPilot Studio, and Azure Foundry
- Advanced scripting skills with PowerShell and/or Python
- Intermediate knowledge of Azure and AWS public clouds and the underlying services
- Intermediate knowledge of Infrastructure as Code
- Experience administering O365, Azure, AWS, IAM, Hybrid Active Directory
- Experience with Terraform, Packer, and DSC
- Experience with Azure EntraID, SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, Power Platform, IIS, SQL Servers, DNS
- Experience with Azure Functions and Runbooks
- Experience with Azure Virtual Desktops
- Experience with Intune and MECM
- Experience with Datadog or similar monitoring tools
- Experience with governance frameworks
- Compliance experience with PCI-DSS and HIPAA
- Mentoring junior engineers
- Escalation point for peers
