Job Summary
Provide feedback on mission-level specifications and support development of requirements, architectures, interface definitions, and system roadmaps. Define component-level requirements derived from operational needs and lead generation of Interface Control Documents (ICDs). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data sources and identify technical risks, dependencies, and integration challenges across multi-system environments. Ensure systems-engineering efforts remain aligned with program objectives, MBSE practices, and stakeholder priorities while supporting Agile-based development workflows. Maintain an active TS/SCI clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree and 14+ years of experience in a Systems Engineering related field
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cloud Computing, or related field and 12+ years of experience in a Systems Engineering related field
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cloud Computing, or related field and 10+ years of experience in a systems engineering related field
- Ph.D. and 7+ years of experience
- Additional four (4) years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- Active TS/SCI
- Ability to lead systems‐engineering activities such as requirements development, architecture definition, interface specification, and technical planning
- Ability to develop and interpret complex Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and support cross‐system interface integration
- Ability to evaluate and address system‐level risks, dependencies, and integration challenges in multi‐component or distributed systems environments
- Ability to collaborate with multi‐disciplinary teams including software, AI/ML, data, MBSE, verification, and integration engineering
- Experience supporting systems‐engineering activities for ground‐system or mission‐system environments
- Direct experience with an Agile software development lifecycle
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Model‐Based Systems Engineering tools or practices
- Experience working in multi‐contractor or third‐party integration and test environments
- Ability to prepare and present technical designs and recommendations to engineering stakeholders
