Job Summary
Senior Systems Engineer - Performance and Validation Deputy role onsite in Tucson, AZ, providing simulated environments for testing of missile effectors through 6DOF modeling, RF scene modeling, performance analysis, and validation activities. Lead modeling, simulation credibility, and accreditation efforts for tactical missile simulations, coordinating with the Test Architect and program teams. Requires STEM degree, 5+ years of relevant missile-program experience, and active DoD Secret clearance. Proficiency in C/C++ and Python on Linux, knowledge of Design of Experiments and HPC (SLURM), and strong collaboration with customers to ensure credible performance presentations and validation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience on a missile program
- Experience designing, developing, and validating simulations to Government standards
- Experience with object-oriented languages such as C, C++, and Python in a Linux environment
- Experience with 6DOF simulations
- Experience collaborating with customers and program teams to ensure validation and accreditation of simulations
- Current and active U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance (DoD) and U.S. citizenship or eligibility for clearance
- Design of Experiments and HPC resources (e.g., SLURM) familiarity
