Job Summary
Seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer I with 10+ years of experience to oversee corporate network operations, including design, maintenance, and security of LAN and WAN. Requires a BS in Computer Science or related field. Hybrid schedule offered.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic engineering, or related disciplines
- Minimum 10 years of professional technology solution engineering or related experience
- Strong knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, load balancing and security concepts
- Ability to troubleshoot malfunctions of network hardware and software
- Deep understanding of the TCP/IP protocol family
- Deep understanding of networking technologies
- Knowledge of Security principles and familiarity with frameworks
- Excellent analytical, organizational, process improvement and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel to Columbia Bank locations and offices within the tristate area as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Fortinet Certification NSE 4 or higher
- Experience with FortiGate, FortiSwitch and FortiManager as well as Cisco and Aruba
Additional Requirements
- Must be available to be 'on-call' during unusual normal operating business hours, including weekends
