Job Summary
Sr Systems Engineer responsible for configuring, installing, upgrading, monitoring, and securing servers and applications; supports Microsoft SQL Servers, SSL certificates, IIS, clusters, and deployment of new solutions. Plays a key role in CI/CD pipelines, Azure/Windows services, governance and cost management, automation and scripting, monitoring/observability, and AI-assisted daily tasks. Requires 6+ years of experience, Azure and Windows Server certifications, and the ability to work in 24x7 schedules with strong cross-functional collaboration across global teams.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Microsoft Windows Servers, Azure and Systems engineering
- Experience supporting highly-available, cross-enterprise applications on large global networks
- Experience with data center operations and vendor handling
- Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to analyze complex problems
- Excellent written, oral, and email communication in English
- Strong interpersonal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights
- Identity & Security (Azure AD/Entra ID, RBAC, Key Vault)
- IIS administration and App deployment
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Windows Failover Clustering
- CI/CD (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions)
- Application deployment automation
- Monitoring & Observability tools
- Awareness of privacy and security considerations when using AI tools in enterprise environments
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
