Job Summary
Elicit and refine requirements from external customers and mission partners to support end-to-end data flow implementations. Schedule work breakdowns to deliverables, document artifacts, and provide roadmaps for transforming data into standard models. Critically analyze complex data flow problems, breaking vague customer needs into manageable tasks while maintaining scope. Work within an agile development environment to understand system-to-system connections, data processing capabilities, and SIGINT collection architectures. This role requires a current security clearance and 15+ years of systems engineering experience. The successful candidate will form strong relationships with customers and reach out for requirements regarding user data needs.
Required Qualifications
- A CURRENT SECURITY CLEARANCE WITH FS
- A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field
- Fifteen (15) + years of systems engineering experience
- Ability to form good relationships with customers and mission partners
- Reach out to external customers for requirements and understanding of the data and the data needs of the users
- Ability to critically think through complex data flow problems, break down effort into manageable tasks, and create/maintain scope out of sometimes vague customer requirements
- Good working skills with Atlassian products such as Confluence and Jira
- Good understanding of data processing capabilities
- Understands system-to-system connections for data flow processes
- Basic understanding of NiFi, should understand flow file attributes or be able to learn it quickly
- Understanding of SIGINT collection and analysis
- Experience with Military Cryptologic Offices, Tactical Collection Capabilities, Military SIGINT architectures and related data flows
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Electronic Warfare operations, sensors and related data
- Familiar with data formats such as CSV, JSON, PCAP and XML
- Understanding of tactical datalinks and command and control signals
- Understanding of data architectures
- Experience with Intelligence Community
- Experience with DoD Service Intelligence Centers (such as NASIC)
- Understanding of DoD - command structures and relationships
