Job Summary
Lead the migration from on-premises IronPort email security appliances to the Proofpoint cloud-based solution, ensuring a seamless transition with minimal service disruption. Design, configure, and maintain the enterprise Proofpoint service, including firewall rules and block list management. Respond to requests to quarantine or release email while maintaining deep expertise in MTA, the Proofpoint Messaging Security Gateway, and version 8.x. Manage Linux servers and VMware environments to support these infrastructure changes. This role requires expert-level experience in Proofpoint configuration and enterprise service maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Expert level experience designing, configuring and maintaining Proofpoint as an enterprise service
- Experience in setting Proofpoint firewall rules and maintaining block lists; responding to requests to quarantine or release email
- Deep understanding of MTA and Proofpoint Messaging Security Gateway and Proofpoint Messaging Security Gateway 8.x
- Experience with Linux Server and VM Ware
