Job Summary
Senior RMS Engineer for avionics platforms focused on reliability, maintainability, and safety. Responsibilities include applying reliability/maintainability techniques across the program life cycle, reliability modeling/predictions, testability analyses, environmental testing (HALT/HASS, ESS), FMEA/FMECA, FRACAS, AST, and developing RET procedures. Conduct safety assessments per ARP4761 and MIL-STD-882E (SSPPs, FHAs, PSSAs, SSAs, FTAs, CMAs), and review safety analyses. Mentor and train junior Reliability engineers; collaborate with engineering and business leaders and customers. On-site in Melbourne, FL with relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in STEM or advanced degree with minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience (depending on degree)
- Experience with reliability and maintainability techniques
- Experience with FMEA/FMECA, FRACAS, BIT, and testability analyses
- Knowledge of ARP4761 or MIL-STD-882E safety standards
- Ability to mentor and train less experienced engineers
- Onsite work requirement in Melbourne, FL
