Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Networking
• 4 - 7 years' experience in IT infrastructure design, application design, cloud computing, disaster/recovery, or 6-9 years of relevant experience
• Experience with system administration
• Demonstrated ability to design and document processes & procedures
• Experience transitioning work to operational teams
• Maintained experience with data analytics business intelligence, with 5+ years focused on Power BI development
• Demonstrated competence with business acumen within own discipline or function
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate highly technical information in non-technical terminology (written and verbal)
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with strong teamwork skills
• Demonstrates ability to influence up down and across
• Drives innovation by leveraging alternative perspectives and emerging technologies to deliver creative solutions
• Demonstrated ability to deliver work aligning to project management principles & framework
• Demonstrated ability to provide financial impact analysis

• Able to use PowerShell, Ansible, or another appropriate scripting tool to automate common tasks/create reports and troubleshoot issues with existing scripts

Desired Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M language), and Power BI Service.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and relational databases (SQL Server, Azure Synapse, etc.).
• Experience with Power BI gateways, dataflows, and enterprise-level deployment strategies.
• Proven ability to analyze complex datasets and design intuitive, impactful dashboards.
• Solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to work closely with business and technical stakeholders.
• Microsoft Certification PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst Associate) or DA-100 (legacy).
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, or Data Lake.
• Familiarity with Python or R for advanced analytics and Power BI REST API for automation.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies, DevOps pipelines, and CI CD for BI artifacts.

Additional Requirements

• Candidate must sit within our service territories in Chicago, Baltimore, MD or Philadelphia, PA.
• No relocation will be provided.
