Job Summary
The IT Sr Systems Engineer I role at Exelon is focused on designing, developing, and implementing end-to-end automation solutions using tools like UiPath and Power Automate, providing mentorship to junior developers, and ensuring compliance with governance and best practices. This hybrid position emphasizes collaboration with various teams to support IT infrastructure and system integration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Networking
- 4 - 7 years' experience in IT infrastructure design, application design, cloud computing, disaster/recovery, or 6-9 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with system administration
- Demonstrated ability to design and document processes & procedures
- Experience transitioning work to operational teams
- Maintained experience with automation development and implementation.
- Proven expertise in UiPath (including Orchestrator), Power Automate, and PowerApps.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate highly technical information in non-technical terminology
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with strong teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence up down and across.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver work aligning to project management principles & framework.
Desired Qualifications
- Strong understanding of RPA best practices, lifecycle management, and exception handling.
- Experience integrating automation solutions with enterprise systems (e.g., SharePoint, Dynamics 365, SAP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- UiPath Advanced Developer Certification.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-400).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) and APIs.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
