Job Summary
The Sr. Systems Engineer I focuses on designing and implementing automation solutions, specifically using UiPath, Power Automate, and PowerApps, while also collaborating with business stakeholders to optimize existing workflows. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, experience in IT infrastructure, and automation development, as well as effective communication skills to translate technical requirements into actionable projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Networking
- 4 - 7 years' experience in IT infrastructure design, application design, cloud computing, disaster/recovery, or 6-9 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with system administration
- Demonstrated ability to design and document processes & procedures
- Experience transitioning work to operational teams.
- Maintained experience with automation development and implementation.
- Proven expertise in UiPath, Power Automate, and PowerApps.
- Demonstrated competence with business acumen within own discipline or function.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate highly technical information in non-technical terminology.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with strong teamwork skills. May lead and supervise interns and apprentices or serve as peer coach.
Desired Qualifications
- Strong understanding of RPA best practices, lifecycle management, and exception handling.
- Experience integrating automation solutions with enterprise systems (e.g., SharePoint, Dynamics 365, SAP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- UiPath Advanced Developer Certification.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-400).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) and APIs.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
