Job Summary
The Sr. Systems Engineer 1 in Automation will lead the design and implementation of end-to-end automation solutions while collaborating with stakeholders to harness automation opportunities. This role demands technical leadership and expertise in systems integration, cloud technologies, and application development, requiring a proven background in automation tools such as UiPath, Power Automate, and PowerApps.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Networking
- 4 - 7 years' experience in IT infrastructure design, application design, cloud computing, disaster/recovery, or 6-9 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with system administration.
- Demonstrated ability to design and document processes & procedures.
- Experience transitioning work to operational teams.
- Maintained experience with automation development and implementation.
- Proven expertise in UiPath, Power Automate, and PowerApps.
- Demonstrated competence with business acumen within own discipline or function.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate highly technical information in non-technical terminology (written and verbal).
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with strong teamwork skills.
- Demonstrates ability to influence up down and across.
- Drives innovation by leveraging alternative perspectives and emerging technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver work aligning to project management principles & framework.
- Demonstrated ability to provide financial impact analysis.
Desired Qualifications
- Strong understanding of RPA best practices, lifecycle management, and exception handling.
- Experience integrating automation solutions with enterprise systems (e.g., SharePoint, Dynamics 365, SAP).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- UiPath Advanced Developer Certification.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-400).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) and APIs.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Additional Requirements
- Candidate must sit within service territories in IL, MD, PA, DE, DC & NJ.
