Job Summary
The Sr. Systems Engineer 1 (Automation) position focuses on designing and implementing end-to-end automation solutions utilizing UiPath, Power Automate, and PowerApps, while providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers. This is a senior role requiring collaboration with various teams to enhance and maintain IT infrastructure and automation workflows, ensuring compliance with governance and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Networking
- 4 - 7 years' experience in IT infrastructure design, application design, cloud computing, disaster/recovery, or 6-9 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with system administration.
- Demonstrated ability to design and document processes & procedures.
- Experience transitioning work to operational teams.
- Maintained experience with automation development and implementation.
- Proven expertise in UiPath (including Orchestrator), Power Automate (cloud and desktop flows), and PowerApps (Canvas and Model-driven apps).
- Demonstrated competence with business acumen within own discipline or function.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate highly technical information in non-technical terminology (written and verbal).
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with strong teamwork skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Strong understanding of RPA best practices, lifecycle management, and exception handling.
- Experience integrating automation solutions with enterprise systems (e.g., SharePoint, Dynamics 365, SAP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- UiPath Advanced Developer Certification.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-400).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) and APIs.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
