Job Summary
System Administrator responsible for supporting a containerized Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence, Crowd, Bamboo, Bitbucket) within a highly secure Linux PaaS environment. The project expects a highly reliable, scalable, secure, and maintainable system with autonomy to research, design, implement and launch new tools and services to enable rapid feature deployment without sacrificing uptime. Manage backend configuration of an Atlassian server suite for optimal performance, availability, and security. Work on an agile team to support and continue development of a containerized stack in a Linux PaaS environment.323 Be able to implement and maintain DevOps systems and IT automation; identify root causes and collaborate with cross-functional team; experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, scripting, containerization, and various DevOps tools. Emphasis on security-minded, test-driven DevSecOps culture; strong communication and documentation skills; government or large organization experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience administering an on-premise Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Crowd)
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8+
- Scripting/development skills (Python and Bash preferred)
- Docker, Salt or Ansible, Git, Bamboo or Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory or Nexus, NGINX, MySQL, PostgreSQL / EDB
- Citizenship or Work Authorization Required: Must be a U.S. citizen; must pass a background investigation; ability to attain Federal Government Position of Trust
