Job Summary
Lead technically complex system integration and test designs, owning full delivery from concept through qualification and production. Plan requirements, conduct feasibility studies, and develop high-level and detailed technical concepts for subsystems. Execute configuration management, integrate multiple subsystems into complete ASML systems, and design qualification, integration, and production test tools. Oversee project dependencies, signal delivery risks, and guide a team of three to five engineers while adhering to safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Master degree with thorough experience, or equivalent working and thinking level
- Able to technically lead engineering team and advise management
- Has complex sub-module knowledge within own area of expertise
- Solid knowledge of neighboring parts / areas of expertise within module and complex module and system knowledge and how it interacts with other sub-systems
- Research Achieve specific goals for a designated part of a research program
- Involves working within established research systems
- Design Requirements and specifications
- Plan and coordinate the identification, elicitation of of product and/or project requirements
- conduct analysis of those requirements for completion and alignment
- document and manage requirements throughout the life of the project

- Feasibility Conduct feasibility studies from a technological and organizational perspective
- document findings to complete cost-benefit analysis on implementing changes to business processes, products, or business unit structure
- Identify feasibility questions and improvements in own domain
- Conceptualization Contribute to the design of engineering solutions

- Preliminary design Develop technical concepts including material choices

- identify issues and recommend improvements to contribute to further development

- Project management Oversee the dependencies between project team tasks
- assist PO/PL in planning

- take the lead in teamwork breakdown from features to daily tasks

- Provide input to PO/PL for upcoming features in terms of content and high level effort estimates
- Communication and documentation Document complex design choices and specifications in all phases
- ensure product documentation is up to date

- Knowledge Stay up to date on technical developments in one's area of expertise

- contribute to the overall broadening and maintenance of ASML's technology base
