Job Summary
Provide technical consults to optimize system performance based on customer network/OS infrastructure when issues are reported by ODM customers. Promptly support issue duplication and clarification from production and customized customers, then team with related RD and Lab to find the root cause. Support system performance evaluation during New Product Introduction, POC, and tradeshow, while troubleshooting hardware/firmware problems and writing debug shell scripts to resolve hardware issues efficiently. Handle big OEM accounts independently as a role of PM if interested. This role requires 5+ years of server technology experience and extensive Linux/VMware knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- BS/MS EE, CE, CS, or other engineering fields
- 5+ years of server technology related experience
- Experienced in configuring server systems or OEM business for electronic appliances
- Extensive Linux OS/VMWare knowledge
- Advanced Knowledge of standard server/workstation hardware/software
- Strong hardware troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with customer but teamwork with colleagues
- Experience with Bash scripting, familiar with Linux
