Job Summary
Provide technical consults to optimize system performance based on customer network/OS infrastructure and promptly support issue duplication reported by production and ODM customers. Teamwork with related RD and Lab to find root causes, while troubleshooting hardware/firmware problems and writing debug shell scripts to resolve issues efficiently. Support system performance evaluation during NPI, POC, and tradeshow, and handle big OEM accounts independently as a role of PM if interested. Requires BS/MS in engineering with 5+ years of server technology experience, including Bash scripting and Linux/VMware knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- BS/MS EE, CE, CS, or other engineering fields
- 5+ years of server technology related experience
- Experienced in configuring server systems or OEM business for electronic appliances
- Extensive Linux OS/VMWare knowledge
- Advanced Knowledge of standard server/workstation hardware/software
- Strong hardware troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with customer but teamwork with colleagues
- Experience with Bash scripting
- Familiar with Linux
