Sr SW Engineer

Full-Stack Development (Primary Focus) including building modern front-end applications with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and CSS frameworks; RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Node.js; scalable architectures for design engineering, manufacturing, and production. Data Pipeline Development (Secondary Focus) to ingest from REST/GraphQL/SQL and streaming platforms, with batch and streaming transformations, relational and NoSQL databases, and data lakes. Technical Leadership to own multiple systems, define roadmaps, drive cross-system improvements, mentor junior engineers, and own project planning. Operations responsibilities include maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab), Kubernetes/EKS deployments, on-call rotation, Jira project plans, and daily standups. Onsite location options: Seattle, WA or Huntsville, AL. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent and 10+ years of experience with React/TypeScript, REST APIs with Node.js, normalized SQL schemas, and AWS deployments. Desirable skills include Next.js, data engineering (Spark, Kafka), data lake technologies (Delta Lake/Iceberg), NoSQL, Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform, and backend experience with Java/Spring Boot; domain knowledge in manufacturing, operations, logistics, or aerospace engineering.
