Job Summary
Sr. Sustaining Engineer to plan and conduct product support work, evaluating and adapting standard techniques to deliver engineering solutions. Responsible for leading design reviews, mentoring staff, coordinating multi-project execution on time and within budget, performing analyses to verify design effectiveness, generating test procedures, supporting fabrication and testing, and attending customer meetings to identify requirements and drive product improvements. Requires deep knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, WindChill, API/ASME/ANSI standards, and experience with Electrical Submersible Pump systems; 10+ years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Will work in a normal office environment with occasional plant exposure and travel; safety-sensitive role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology or equivalent
- 10+ years of engineering experience
- Proficient with MS Office and/or company-specific software
- Knowledge of PTC WindChill
- Knowledge of API, ASME, ANSI standards
- Strong oral and written communication and analytical skills
- Experience managing multiple projects with deadlines
- Understanding of theories and principles in engineering
- Experience with electrical submersible pump systems and components’ design, application principles, and failure modes
- Safety training such as CPR/AED and electrical safety
