Sr. Survey Technician

Job Summary
Senior Survey Technician responsible for preparing metes and bounds descriptions for boundary surveying projects, exhibits and various mapping products; gathers data for topographic maps; compiles information to stake projects for construction using engineering plans; compares survey computations with applicable standards to determine data adequacy; collects information from source maps, previous survey data, photographs, computer records, and other information to produce topographic and contour maps of land surveyed, including charts, drawings, and survey notes. Requires Surveyor-in-Training certification by the Texas Board of Land Surveying or Level II Certified Survey Technician certification and 8+ years of survey experience; proficient in CADD and TxDOT experience is a plus; strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients. Required Qualifications
- Surveyor-in-Training certification by the Texas Board of Land Surveying, or Level II Certified Survey Technician certification
- 8+ years of survey experience
- CADD experience (TxDOT experience a plus)
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external clients
- Right Away experience is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
