Required Qualifications

• •High School Diploma or GED
• •Minimum two (2) years' experience in one or more of the following areas: Surveillance Technology, Information Technology (IT), Low Voltage Systems, Surveillance Systems Technical Support, IT Data Center Operations, Proficiency in server operating systems, Problem-solving, Access Control Systems, Audio/Visual, or any related technical field
• •Vocational/Technical certification(s) in Low Voltage, Surveillance Technical, Information Technology (IT) infrastructure, physical security or related field
• •PC literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• •Ability to operate equipment such as man lifts, aerial boom lifts/trucks, ladders, hand/power tools, and utility trucks
• •Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with demonstrated organizational and time management skills
• •Proven commitment to working in a team environment with a capacity for self-direction, and a strong willingness to learn new technologies
• •Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematic diagrams
• •Ability to read, write, and speak English for safety purposes
• •Personable and professional, capable of using caution and discretion in communication
• •Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record as determined by the insurance carrier
• •Strength sufficient to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and/or move up to 40 pounds occasionally
• •Hearing sufficient to hear conversational levels in person, via videoconference and over the telephone
• •Speech sufficient to make oneself heard and understood in person, in front of groups, in meetings, via videoconference and over the telephone
• •Visual acuity that meets the requirements of the position: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading and visual inspection of employees, visitors or facility
• •Mobility sufficient to safely move in an office environment, walk, stoop, bend and kneel, and enter, exit and operate a motor vehicle in the course of travel to promotional events, meetings, conferences, trade shows and San Manuel properties
• •Endurance sufficient to sit, walk and stand for extended periods, and maintain efficiency throughout the entire work shift and during extended work hours

• •Must be able to apply knowledge to ensure compliance in YSMN operations
• •Must be able to respond to enterprise technical support requests on an on-call basis
• •Must be able to ensure availability and resolution of critical issues 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• •Must be able to execute installation and configuration of surveillance system components including cameras, servers, network switches, storage devices, wireless devices, equipment racks, cabinets, environmental monitoring tools, and weapons detection systems
• •Must be able to dress, terminate, test, certify, and label various cable types such as Category cable, fiber, and coaxial
• •Must be able to install and manage cable pathway systems including conduit, cable trays, racks, J-hooks, and D-rings
• •Must be able to participate and lead the team in installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance and troubleshoot surveillance system components
• •Must be able to complete detailed documentation of installations, configurations, and testing results
• •Must be able to lead team in preparing and deploying cabling infrastructure installing, terminating, fusion splicing, testing, certifying, dressing and labeling multiple types of cabling such as fiber optic cables, category cable, multi-conductor, coaxial cables and power cables
• •Must be able to ensure exceptional cable management leveraging, systems such as conduit, mounting boxes, cable trays, cable racks, J-hooks, lacing bars, and D-rings
• •Must be able to review work orders processed by the team for quality assurance
• •Must be able to process work orders, documenting work performed and provides accurate daily and/or weekly status reporting
• •Must be able to provide feedback and/or solutions to projects, tasks and technical, physical installation or mechanical challenges
• •Must be able to conduct routine and emergency maintenance on all surveillance department systems
• •Must be able to diagnose and resolve outages, technical issues, quickly assessing situations to determine appropriate, effective responses, while maintaining sound judgment
• •Must be able to operate equipment such as man lifts, Ariel boom lifts/trucks, utility vehicles, and enterprise vehicles
• •Must be able to use tools including but not limited, ladders, power tools and various hand tools
• •Must be able to maintain accurate inventory of all surveillance system components
• •Must be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams such as IT, DPS, Facilities or vendors to ensure seamless integration across diverse environments
• •Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license at the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission
• •Must be able to obtain Certified Fiber Optic Installer (FOI) certification within 1 year from date of start in department
